Also, Trevor is an annoying fuck. I'd rather play Michael or Franklin. I'm getting tired of switching over to him and he's drunk on top of a building or passed out under a semi trailer at the docks or some bullshit. At least Michael is at home and Franklin is hanging out near home.
I think it's cool that the characters do their own thing while you aren't interacting with them, but Trevor takes it to a whole new level of retardedness.
I also deal with trashy fucks all day and he reminds me of them too much.
OH and he changes the motherfucking radio on you too, that fucker.

Yeah he's the one character I do not play with unless I have to. Although he does look proper in his Duck Dynasty beard and mullet. I need to find him a Ruiner/Camaro to drive....SBF wrote:Also, Trevor is an annoying fuck. I'd rather play Michael or Franklin. Already got the other two classic cars that fit them.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
Don't need no fuckin' SUV, dirt bike, or helicopter to get to the top of Mt. Chiliad.
There were some mishaps along the way.
You may think you hate it now, but wait till you drive it (and nearly win a street race with it)

I'm getting tired of losing cars. Unless I put them in a garage, Micheals house and Franklins hill house won't save cars. I keep building them and they're nowhere to be found.
BUT if I drive some POS back to the house an park it on the stree, the motherfucker is there every time I come outside. WTF

Thats what makes me wary of spending any money modding cars. At least in Saints Row it's permanently saved to your garage and the only way it disappears is if you delete it. Even if it gets destroyed you just have to pay a small fee or something and you can get it back. You can even call one of your homies to bring anything in your garage to you. Really comes in handy.

If you save a car to Grove Street garage or whatever, and then you abandon it somewhere, doesnt it get sent to the impound lot and you have to pay a fee to get it back?

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I don't know. There are 3 garages that I know of, I think they would all do that. What's aggravating is there is most definitely a glitch. Some cars save in Michaels garage at home, but some don't. I had a really nice 6-Series type car that I made super fucking nice because Jimmy took Michaels car after he drugged him up (which I had also supped up). When I saved the game and came back the next day, I went to the garage and it was empty, but that little compact car that replaced Michaels original car is always sitting out front.
I got so pissed, I took it down the street and blew it up.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
The home garages seem to be stuck with mission specifics, whether or not the cars stay there.
Plus, once you get to a point in the game, Franklin "moves", so whatever was in his garage in the hood is lost.
I had a car in Micheal's garage that stayed there for quite some time, but once I got the big garage, I moved it because I wanted to modify it, and I didn't want to lose it.

Dammit, I haven't played in three days..... BRB, RECTIFYING.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
Rockstar announced about a week ago that they know there's a garage glitch and they're working to fix it. I haven't messed with the impound lots yet, but supposedly you can pick up your cars from there if they're abandoned, I think.SBF wrote:I don't know. I just wish they'd hurry up with the FruitDroid or whatever.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I just played the first mission with Trevor. What were they thinking making a guy like this as a playable character? I don't want to be this guy. He's a fucking meth head piece of trash. Bottom of the barrel scum. I could see having a character like that in the game as an enemy or something but as a playable character? WTF

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I think the cars that end up at impound only end up there if you park the cars in certain places.
For example, I jacked a Futo and parked it at the textile factory that Lester operates from. I used a different vehicle when I left. A few missions later it said it was at impound.
However, I have dumped cars in random places and they never go to impound.

I feel the same way you do. I think he's a shitty character to play as.
I tried buying him clothes and he still looks like a trashy piece is shit.

Blaine County Radio is hilarious. Although a part of me wonders how many people playing the game thinks "I Like Things Just The Way They Are" is unironically a good song with a lot of great ideas.

They have the Pheonix!!
I just happened to be playing Trevor when I found one. How fitting.

I managed to make my Trevor look somehwat respectable I think. Got him a handlebar mustache, some sunglasses and a hunting vest from Ammunation, some dirty jeans and boots from one of the other stores. At least now he just looks like a redneck instead of a meth-head scumbag. I wish I could give him a cowboy hat, I think it would complete the look.

I also got one of those lifted F350 looking trucks, spent a lot of money modifying it, drove it to the impound lot to pick up a motorcycle of mine, and as soon as I got on the bike, the truck disappeared. It's not back in my garage, and it hasn't appeared at the impound lot. I think it's gone. Along with all the thousands of dollars I put into it. Â

Oh, and I'm glad motorcycles don't suck balls in this game like they did in GTA4, although they're still far too slow compared to their real life counterparts. I bought the most expensive sport bike, maxed out the power upgrades, and cop cars were still pretty much keeping up with me. Utterly ridiculous. I should be going like a stabbed rat.

The cop cars could chase down a fighter jet.

Haha yeah they could. The funny thing is that when you drive one theyre still not quite as fast as the ones the cops are driving. its like any cop car not driven by you has an additional 200hp or something.

Did anyone notice that the finger pointer mouse icon on the webpages has a pointing middle finger instead of the index finger?

Also, I found that the cop cars have excellent traction off road. They chased me up to the Vinewood sign. I was in a new Gallivanter (there are two) and they had no problem chasing and ramming me up the hill.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
When cops are driving the cop cars they have superpowers. If you're driving an 18 wheeler they can pull in front of you and brake and slow you down to pretty much a walking pace. I don't care how strong their brakes might be, that defies the laws of physics. They can also sideswipe and ram you with the force that another large truck would likely have and not a 4000lb car. It kinda makes driving a large heavy vehicle or a fast one pointless. They can rumble with the heaviest of vehicles and also keep up with the fastest.
But like I said when you get into a cop car they turn into just a regular car, more or less.

I've been trying to get into that army base for a while now and steal a tank. I last about 30 seconds and then I get blown to shit.

They made it really difficult. I blast in there and I'm dead within 30 seconds. I'm trying to figure out how to get in there. I want to steal a fighter jet.

Well I know at that quarry in Trevor Land theres a bulldozer and some of those giant dump trucks, not sure if they would fare any better. I'm gonna give it a shot though.

Trevor's heist of the "device" that Merryweather is testing. I choose to steal the one underwater using the sub I stole at the docks, and the CargoBob I stole from the military base. Lester made me give it back out of fear of the government coming to kill us all.
BUT, I still have the sub.

There's an upscale barber near Micheal's house with special cuts and beards for all three guys.Honor wrote:Howd you shave his head? I never saw that option when I went to the barber.
