The tailgater is RWD.
I still use it. I have it maxed out and it's fast as hell.
I still have Franklins Buffalo. I actually like that car.
Maybe because I like Chargers

What's the red car Micheal is left with after Jimmy steals the black thing? Whatever that is, that's what I had, and it was FWD.
Pimped out Trevor's truck, since I'm stuck with it.
Enjoying a quiet sunset after a long police chase
Then we went to an island... well, we woke up there, surrounded by dead bikers.
And later that day, after crossing the state to return home, we enjoyed another peaceful sunset.
Soon after, the moon appeared
That mountain looks like a boobie
Trevor was so excited, he decided to get into a firefight with police, and use the glitched building to be safe from bullets, but able to shoot the cops, and fell off the world. Thankfully, he had his chute on.
So peaceful under here. Just gliiiiiding away......

Here are some of Michaels cars.
I love the Ruiner. I could beat the shit out of these every day. You can't really tell but the primary color is Merlot with the regular red. Totally 80s-tastic.
Same thing with the Sabre Turbos. I dig that they have Pontiac Rallye wheels.
For the SUVs, My favorite is the new LandStalker.
I forget what the Ferrari knockoff is called, but I dig it.
I have more, I just haven't got pictures. I also lost some cars that just disappeared which pissed me off.
I'll have to get Franklin's cars. Trevor, well I didn't bother with him.

I'm going to time some of these cars and see how fast they actually are. Luckily the GPS has distance in miles on it otherwise it wouldnt be possible.

That mileage is really inaccurate. From Sandy Shores to LSA is 4 miles. I don't think so.

I did a mission where they said it was a four hour drive to the destination. Riiiiiight I was done in 15 minutes.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
Well notice that time in the game goes by faster than in real life. If you look at the time on your phone a minute goes by in the game world almost every second in the real world. The game itself happens in real time though, it isnt sped up or anything though obviously, so it kind of clashes with the time orientation.

Found an Immigration Helicopter last night on the roof of a hospital along with another regular helicopter. Pain in the ass to shoot, but great air support for any friends on the ground.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I've seen some cool easter eggs in the game so far. While I was going down to the hunting trailer with Trevor, I came across a circle of trucks in a sandy opening with bodies scattered all over. Then I ran down the hill and there was a couple dying guys with a briefcase full of money. Right when I saw the trucks I figured it had to be a No Country for Old Men referenece. There was far less than 2 million in the briefcase though. :jay:

Oh, and just some fags on bikes came after me for the briefcase, not anyone looking like Anton Chigurh. (They still managed to kill me though.)

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
Took me an hour and a half and about 10 deaths, but I finally got the ONE police car you can save and somewhat customize.
It only spawns up north when you get a wanted level of 3 stars or more, and it comes loaded with SWAT. And it brings helicopters. Every time I tried, they'd shoot the tires out, slowing it down, and I'd never evade them. Finally got to a train tunnel and they lost me/didn't follow me inside.
So now its mine. And its chrome.

Game's been out a month, still no android Ifruit or even news about. Just that they're "working hard" on it. Seriously guys? You think we don't know you could make a port of that in 10 minutes if you wanted to? Theyre obviously in bed with apple. Fuckers.

YOUUUUUGGAAAA!
Cool guys don't look at explosions.
Sorry. Haven't played in two weeks. Had to have some fun last night. Found the damn Youga straight away, then while I'm driving it back to my garage, Jimmy calls.... and I accept to help him. Bad move. Long story short, I couldn't enter any garage to save the van, then I failed the mission and when I replayed it, I was in a different car. Had to find a Youga all over again, and spend all the monies to re-pimp it. BUT, I found one easily. Sure. Now they're EVERYWHERE.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
Very sweet Dajiban. I FINALLY found a fucking Futo.
I went on a killdozer spree, which was pretty fun because it took a long time for the cops to show up, and when they did, they kept trying to PIT my bulldozer at full speed which fucked up a lot of police cars. Then one would get in front of me to box me in and I'd just lift it up, flip it, and run it over.
Then I was driving one of those Lexus things and I'd beat the shit out of it, and it was still running great. I'd ripped the front doors off and I could hear the door ajar chime going while I was driving around.

Finally finished the storyline last night. Guess I should start playing online.... or going for 100%...

So apparently Android iFruit came out last week and I wasn't aware.
But it's not compatible with my phone. Fuckers.

I like the online. It's a lot of fun to go out and cause trouble or play missions or whatever with your friends. I got the stimulus money this weekend, so there was a lot of modding.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
So the Rockstar server deleted my online character. I had to create a new one and had to go through the stupid tutorial again.
However it kept my money, my ranking, garage, and all my cars. I can't call Merryweather and I think my skills are back to default. I'm a little pissed, but glad I got my stuff back.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I thought they patched that?
I haven't even been online, or played much lately. I think I'm outgrowing video games, or something. Or I just don't have the time anymore.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I love it when people say they are outgrowing video games. That would be like our parents saying that they are outgrowing television. It is just a part of our generation, we will be playing them when we're old men. can you imagine how awesome video games are going to be in like 30 or 40 years?
ask yourself what would you be doing with your time if you did not have a family? It's an answer is playing video games then you're not out growing them. You're just too busy for them at this point in your life.

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I wouldn't say I'm outgrowing video games, but I definitely don't keep up with them like I used to. These days I have a hard time finding games that actually interest me enough to shell out the money. I don't know if the overall quality of games have declined, there's not enough variation or good writing, or the genres of games that are in vogue just don't hold my attention, or whatever, but I haven't really bought very many in the last couple of years. Since Forza 4 came out I played the shit out of that until XCom: Enemy Unknown came out, then that game until GTA5, and not very much in between (and two of those games are sequels, the other a modern reboot of an existing franchise). And the games that I really liked and played in between all of that were very niche games, like Kentucky Route Zero and Papers, Please.Honor wrote:I love it when people say they are outgrowing video games. I don't know if I'm being more judicious with my time or my cash, or both, or if it's something else, but something has changed for me. I'm kind of the same with TV and movies. I hardly watch any TV anymore, outside of sports, and I haven't liked a lot of the movies I've seen recently.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
GTA5 content: I ran from the cops on foot, ran across a railroad track, and hid behind a tree. The cops followed and looked for me but couldn't find me and I lost my wanted level. They walked back toward their cars and crossed the tracks, when one of them got run over by a train. The other cops pulled out their pistols and started firing at the locomotive and running after it. I about pissed myself laughing.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
Uhhhh..... selling extra parts from it so I can buy parts that I do not have and hoping to start working on the body work soon.Honor wrote:What are you doing on it now?
Was thinking about playing some GTAV last night, but thought "Hmm, let's see how my camp's doing in State of Decay"
Played for about three hours, just leveling up characters, looking for supplies and new survivors, doing the odd mission here and there. If there was ever a game with infinite replay value, its that. Plus there's a expansion coming out soon, hopefully it's the sandboxing we've been promised. As it is now, there seems to be only so far you can go.... I mean you can finish the story line then keep on surviving. But once you get a set of survivors maxxed out, as well as the camp, there's not much to do but go around killing zombies, or coming up with fun ways to play.
I might try to get all the vehicles to the county fair grounds, and park them all in the parking lot just for shits and giggles. Sounds like a fun and potentially hard thing to do: Walking all the way across the map to get to the farthest away cars, without getting attacked by a horde.
Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
moar pics
When you lower the suspension, it's probably the closest thing to a Focus there is in the game
This is likely the worst I've ever smashed up a car and still had it running decently (albeit a bit slower due to the missing tire)
And some pretty pics

Re: GTA V thread, because we'll surely need it.
I think the problem with most modern video games is that there are no more good story lines. Everyone is focusing on Online so much that they fail at a good story mode.
