Probably because they'd have to allow a STi swap, and Subaru don't want that? I dunno.
Scion doesn't have any cool engine swaps.

Why would they have to allow an STi swap? We'd all prefer it, but they don't HAVE to.
Like with the Hyundai Tuscany (Tiburon in this country) or whatever it's called in Japan. You can put a Genesis motor in it, but not the drivetrain. so you can't make it RWD for some reason.
And I'm not crazy about any of the Scions. Very bland cars imo.

They need more Nissan Sentras. Like the 92 SE-R and 2006 SE-R Vspec. And how about some bugeyed Wrxs?

I think they called it the Coupe in the EU also. I know they do in the UK.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
perhaps it's Coupe in all the RHD countries.

The Lincoln will be cool. Annoying how you have to level up affinity for free parts though even though my ford affinity is like level 20.
And start letting lexus acura and infiniti in japanese races and not u.s. ones. They're about as american as the kremlin.

It was the Hyundai Coupe in certain parts of Europe. Tiburon in North America, Australia/New Zealand, and South Africa.

Laguna Seca? No, but you can add the body kit for it. Even includes the track map on the "gas cap" But, as stupid as T10 usually is, you cannot paint over the Boss stripes, so you can't make an exact replica.
Thing goes like stink though. Wheelspin in 3rd gear, stock.

It's listed as being faster than a new gt500, that doesnt seem right.

New Pennzoil pack details are out. It's going to have an '83 GMC Vandura. No more pretending the Transit is the A-Team van!

Hooray! Maybe we'll get a driver with a mohawk on his helmet?
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
It'll make a good "free candy" van too.

why a '53 Corvette? if they're going to do one from that earliest design cycle, why not a '55?
Nobody ever does a '55. Because Fuel-Injected V8 Motherfuckers.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I seriously gave a hearty WHAT THE FUCK when they didn't allow you to add a brush guard, side-step moldings, or even PAINT THE FUCKING GRILLE to make it look like B.A.'s van.
And no Typhoon engine swap = FAIL.
But you CAN make it AWD, so there's that.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
Yeah I was thinking they wouldnt let you paint the grille. Im surprised they didnt add an A-Team body kit though, I mean I thought that was a big reason why they were putting the van in this game at all.

The stupid thing is, it has a rear bumper swap to go from un-paintable grey like the grille, to paintable white. WTF, Turn10??

licensing issue probably.clockbreaker wrote:Yeah I was thinking they wouldnt let you paint the grille. Im surprised they didnt add an A-Team body kit though, I mean I thought that was a big reason why they were putting the van in this game at all.

The front bumper is the same way. I was more pissed about the bumpers than than the brush guard omission. It's ridiculous to have ANY non-paintable surfaces on these cars. I'll paint over the plastic and chrome if I damn well please.
At least give us an "add license plate" option in the body upgrades, T10.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
Yeah last time I checked paint sticks to chrome too.

I believe i've seen that logo before. It is the logo of a car from the US this side of the 1940's, right?Benfolio wrote:

So are you guys interested in Forza Horizon? It's had some extremely good previews so far.

I didn't pre-order it, and will probably not buy it on release day.
Until I am 100% done with Fourza, I probably won't buy it. I'm at 78% right now.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I'll definitely be buying it because plenty of my 'friends' will be. I'll import it though for about Au$55-60 compared to the RRP here of $100. Considering the Aussie dollar is worth more than the greenback we can get some stupid savings here buying from overseas.
It the asian version is confirmed region free I could be looking at about $50 including postage. Compared to our regular price you just cant say no to that.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I'm taking a wait-and-see approach with Horizon. I'll rent it when it comes out, but I'm not sure about it. For me, a big part of the fun with 4 is racing all the ridiculous cars, and it doesn't sound like Horizon will have them. Despite Turn 10/Playground stating it's going to have Forza physics, people I've heard who've played previews at special events say it definitely seems more arcadey.
It looks very pretty though. I just wonder if it'll hold my interest.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
It looks like it'll kinda be like Test Drive Unlimited or Midnight Club LA, both arcadey but fun games imo. Pretty looking cars with lots to do and explore.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
Has anyone played Horizon yet? I decided not to buy but to get it from Gamefly since it could go either way. Plus I already bought Borderlands 2 this month and Assassin's Creed 3 comes out in another 6 days and I'm definitely going to buy that.

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I haven't gotten it. Most of the reviews I've read were positive, even the hardcore Fourza players that gave it a shot said it's pretty good, a nice break from the hardcore racing that is Fourza. The graphics are beautiful though, from what I've seen. I'm going to get it when I've run all the Event List in FM4.
