Yeah I'm in the same Season Pass boat. But I missed the contests too, which I would have done for the fuck of it. One lap in REVERSE GEAR around Seca in a Morgan. YES PLEASE.

So has Dunnas. God I hate track days.
I've driven the LF-A before, I think only for the Autovista challenge, and I don't remember it being that much of a handful as it was around Infineon. MY WORD, now I know why them dolts on Top Gear USA had so many issues.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
One thing id really like is if they added parts for a racing cockpit. Its silly to have a 600hp Datsun 510 with the factory dash, steering wheel and seats. Also, we need better exhausts. A. 510 with a skyline engine would not just have the stock pea shooter exhaust.

I've heard that argument before. It'd be nice, but its more about the driving with Forza. I'd rather have that physics trade off than to have the car visually correct. "This isn't Need For Speed", and all that.
Besides, you can't see the outside of the car if you're driving in cockpit, and there are SOME cars that change the exhaust when you put on a body kit. You CAN remove at least ONE seat, and add a roll cage.... so there's that I guess.

Someone said on the Noble, when you do the race reduction, it removes the wrong seat. I've yet to check that out.

Which cars change the exhaust other than the 240?

Me neither. I will make so many pubbies cry.
And then I will put a pic of the Impala next to a Nova and caption it to read, "I EXCUSE ME SAY, HONOURED GENTLEMAN, BUT HOW MUCH POWER HAVE YOU IN THIS NOVA SS?"

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
Yes. I never really found a good set of pictures of it, just some clips on YouTube. Did the best I could in an hour, I'll probably re-do it when I have more time or better stills from the movie to study.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I love track days. They can be incredibly infuriating but you generally know when you decided to push things too far to get passed an extra car.Benfolio wrote:JaysonAych wrote:I see you've been busy in Rivals mode, Benfolio

Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I have a new C class love.
Stock engine, race trans, full suspension/brake/race tire upgrades, and a basic grip tune. She handles neutrally, almost like an AWD car, and while not a leaderboard scorcher, it does well against the AI and I do have some top 2 and 3% times with it. Just heave it into a corner and it sticks. Power out and it barely drifts wide.
Best thing is? I bought it for an Eclipse/Talon race because it was the worst/slowest/lowest PI car.
Can't wait to EVO engine/AWD driveline swap it and get it into B and A class.

I'll be honest. My wife had a GS version of that exact car. It wasn't fast and had an automatic, but was fun as hell to drive. Good on gas and handled well. It was her "new car" for college and she had it when I met her. It was a sad day when we gave it back to Mitsubishi.

I was a Mits tech for awhile, when these things came out. Hated them because there was no more AWD, no more turbo, but they still handled nice, and the Spyder with the V6 was fun to blast around town with the top down when doing a PDI.
