Just got home. Pooping. Then eating. While installing. THEN playing.

We should create a car club at some point.

Agh it says they gifted me 60k to my online bank for playing Forza 3 but I can't find how to access it.

Me too. Painted my Ford Ka. Now I'm installing all the BULLSHIT. I might get to play around midnight at this rate.

I was supposed to get 250,000 for buying the LCE and getting the season pass, but I haven't found it yet. That's okay though because this game just chucks money and cars at you. I certainly don't like the GT method of making you grind forever to get a dinky Kei car, but I think FM has gone too far in the other direction.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I feel as though GT gives you too much money too fast as well, as soon as you get a little dough you outpace all of your competition.
I think the opponents should be able to upgrade their cars throughout the season to match your cars potential, they could have taken the car potential meter thing they use for the multiplayer, and made great of use of that to more evenly match the AI as well.

Just bought a Nissan leaf. Sounds like a ufo.

The opponent cars actually are upgraded this time around. Every race I can remember featured cars that were all within a small point range of mine. However, at the start of the game the AI difficulty is turned down to "short bus" and gets gradually notched up as you go through the game.

I bought a Chevy Volt. It was 35,000 credits (27,000 after tax break).
Seriously though, it's eerie. All you hear is wind and tire noise until you get close to redline and you can kinda make out a high-pitched electric whine if you listen hard enough. Not being able to hear the engine makes it really hard to drive and shift properly.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
Insert game, play 458 assited race. Pick first car. Ford Ka. Paint car. Install game/DLC. Get credits and cars. Buy first car. Syclone. Paint. Buy second car. '77 Trans Am. Paint.
Test drive.
Free Run. Kia cee'd. Top Gear. 1.44.xx on first try. Top 7% on leaderboard.
Test drive a few cars. Paint a few gifted cars.
Play one race with Ford Ka.
Notice its 12:30 and I have to be up at 5:30 for work.
Go to bed.
Oh yeah. Took one pic.

I can't believe they didn't add any new wheels at all. And they didn't really add much in the way of body kits or anything either. The CRX still doesn't have a sideskirt option, has been that way since Forza 2.

There's a few new wheels, mostly for muscle cars, and the bodykit options have increased. Again, mostly for muscle cars.
Speaking of, I re-created my first car, awwww
Except my hood and fenders were flatter. And I only had one removable glass panel in the middle of my roof. Oh, and about 60 less HP.

This thing hauls ass and actually handles pretty well since i lightened it, put a roll cage in, added a wing and some downforce, and gave it racing slicks.

Wish you could do little things like take the antenna or other little pieces off. Or actually add a race interior instead of just taking out the passenger seat.

Its easier than making an actual design, and I hate buying designs or vinyls from others.
Quick and easy, and identifiable.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I only get free vinyls. If I couldnt get it, I would just make my own. I actually enjoy making decal jobs for my cars.

I do too, but I'm lazy and would rather send time racing it than spend time making it look pretty.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
I actually got bored with racing on 3 and started doing paintjobs

Once I got all the achievements I did do a lot more painting, and tried playing online a bit but I suck compared to the rest of the world. I'd always end up running mid pack and then I'd get mixed up with all the griefers crashing into people instead of braking for turns.
But yeah, when I was in season mode, and completing races in the event list I almost never painted a car in anything but its stock colors.
Re: Forza Motorsport 4 - It's on!
BTW I still have the gold Firebird. I bought two.
One for nostalgia, and one for tracking.

Finally got around to playing Top Gear Soccer. If you haven't yet, do it. Hella fun.
