I could post that video I have of it again wub

I bet if you post on the FM3 forums someone can cook one up for you easy. I'd give it a go but my xbox is on time-out still.

I could take a crack at it throughout the week here if more pics are posted.

I don't have any personal pics, but I found a bunch on google, problem is, they are flickr accounts, so I can't copy and paste them.

save and upload. if it won't let you, view source, copy image address, replace the z at the end with a b, open it in its own window, and you're good to go.

The LeMans shit started getting old once I had to use prototype class cars. Those things wouldn't corner or hold the road for shit once I got to the Porsche Curves, but the AI's cars could fly through them without even lifting the throttle.

and then they sharked you the whole rest of the way back into Mulsanne. You couldn't get away from them. and then I GT class I started really hating Nelson Piquet and Marco Apicella. I'm sure they're great guys in real life but their Grid AI's are douches.

Just so you know SBF, I'm probably halfway done with your Mazda. I think you'll be happy with it. :)

You wouldn't happen to know how the back is laid out? I can't find any pics of the rear. I can wing it if need be, but for accuracy purposes...

Go by tailhappy's pic, It used to say "Zoom-Zoom" under the taillights, but he has changed it since. It looks as if there is a goodyear decal on the bumper.

it'd rule if you could actually add the side exhaust too. but no. when you upgrade your exhaust in forza, it looks stock no matter what. 600hp r32 swapped rabbit and it still has the same stock pea shooter exhaust. :heeheehee:

It's on its way to you, SBF. Let me know what you think! I had to fudge a few details due to the differences between the stock body and the race body, but I got things pretty close.

You can still pick up the design without a Gold membership, right? :suspense:

I wish I knew what to tell you about how I did it. Aside from tons of practice across all three Forza games, lots of patience, and studying all the shapes in the decals, that is. A lot of them are designed to look okay in a smaller size, but wouldn't look good blown up. Except that Underdog decal...that thing is fully detailed and I'm thinking of putting it up on the storefront. It took two hours to do, and turned out beautiful, but of course you can't make it out as small as it is on the car. :jay:

The 2nd Shift Motorsports decal is the most impressive to me. He designed that himself and I am going to show this to him. He will get a kick out of it. I am also impressed with a lot of the manufacturers decals you probably had to make.

The time it took you to make that was fast (at least to me).

Seriously dude, Awesome job.

Thanks! The 2nd Shift logo was tough because I couldn't make some of the detail out, but it was small enough that I could wing it and make it close.

The Mazda and Goodyear logos were basically traced from the pre-fab logos so I could make them white (and I'd already done the Goodyear logo from a previous car, as well as the Auto Meter logo and the American flag). The Sunoco logo and Mazdaspeed logos were pre-fab, but everything else was done from scratch.

And now I'm going to bed

Did you guys hear that apparently GT5 still has the AI problems that the other games had?

"The AI was also criticized for still making CPU-drivers brake unexpectedly and not being aware of the player's car on the track, just as in previous games in the series. IGN called it "the series' now trademark zombie A.I. "

Are you kidding me? All the time they took, all the times they pushed the release date back, how much they emphasized that they were going to make every little detail perfect, and then they put the same dumbass AI in it? UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE.

I've heard that the AI is largely the same early on, though it does get more aggressive as you level up, but it takes until you get to, like, level 20 or so before that happens.

I'd have to play to see how it is, but what I've read thus far has not impressed me much. I'd love to play online with 16-car fields, (maybe even with the 20% of the car lineup that has damage, cockpits, and high poly-counts!) but other than that, it sounds like they didn't do too much.

I haven't heard much from what I have heard I am kinda glad I didn't try and trade my 360 for a PS3 and GT5.
well I think talon, dunnas and I are the only af'ers who own a ps3
And Turbojett, sans home internet connection.
Anyway, I haven't gotten it yet, I just fell into a monetary hole (Fucking cops picking me off for every stupid little thing they can; must have been a ticket-quota month).
but speak no Ill of Gran Turismo. That's my shit. I'll reserve my opinion for when I finally get it.
Though I don't see the big problem with the AI shit. Just about every racing game I've ever played has BS AI Physics..the Forzas (Forzi?) being among the worst offenders. I'd love to get back online so I don't have to deal with that shit.

that...is pretty stupid. I mean, not even a brake balance controller? cause I could deal with giving the racing rotors a miss and just pumping up the stock ones with the bbc. i started doing that to make GT4 that much harder after the AI started presenting no threat at all.

Once you level up do more upgrades become available? Because the damage model gets better.

I heard its because its to allow the noobs a chance to NOT write off their car every race since, like in FM3, you have to pay to repair it.

But, uh, yeah, the shitty GT4 graphics of the 800 regular cars, lack of upgrades THAT MAKE SENSE, and crappy sound (ign has a video of an R8 at Daytona and that same repeating drone happens at steady high RPM like ALL the GT games had, like they only recorded an accelerating engine so they have to replay that over and over. SHITTY) are reasons while I will stick with Forza and an xBox, thanks.
