So then apparently they didn't fix it.

well far more cars in the game are manual than automatic so it's not really a problem. plus, maybe you could rationalize and just say he moves his hand to the shifter just out of habit.

Re: AF Forza 3 Racing League
I am starting to get super pissed at GT's AI on the NASCAR ovals. They'll spin you out while going down the straights... THey'll track out through the turn and if you're on teh outside they'll spin you police style. If you spin out at any time, the race is shot. Since all the cars are the same (ok, I did an oil change on mine and it got an extra 40 hp ) and they travel much faster as a pack, your'e fucked and have to start over.

Hey I used to shift my automatic Corolla wagon manually. It's possible.

Re: AF Forza 3 Racing League
I think I figured out why there is so much missing from GT5.
They spent all their time modeling the cars. I mean, shit, look at these things.
I’m going to have to spend some more time in the photo room.

where are you getting the extra zeros from?
And Talon, can you not mod the Nascars?

Ah it must have been gt2 or gt3 that cost that much. One of them definitely did.

ah well, i don't remember how much it was in GT3, but i'm almost certain there wasn't an oil change in GT2. they didn't lose power after you put the mileage on.

All you can do is an oil change. Adds 48 hp, though.
The whole oil change thing is retarded. You can add an exhaust and get 30 hp, but an oil change will get you 45.

Re: AF Forza 3 Racing League
I've been browsing the GT5 pics page. THe attention to detail on some of these cars is just phenomenal.

As good as they look, I'd rather them has spent time on the gameplay rather than picture backgrounds.

I mean, look at this. The tail light, metal grill, how the grill meshes under the tail light, the oil cooler... jeezus.

Re: AF Forza 3 Racing League
Some shots I took. Seems like it's easier to get good detail in the photo mode. Kind of addictive...
OMG I fucking love this car (in real life too). I wish they'd have ditched the filled front wheels, though.

Good news and bad news
http://jalopnik.com/5711254/jalopnik-car-pack-brings-delorean-el-camino-to-forza-motorsport-3
I'm willing to bet a Ferrari 250 California is far harder to find than a Shelby Omni or a Starion.
I'm mostly happy, but I was looking forward to the Omni more than any of them.

Sadly, there's been some changes — so the car pack's not entirely perfect. Gone, sadly, are the Shelby Omni, Starion, Lancia, Ford Escort Cosworth, Syclone and BMW 6 series. Added, inexplicably, is the Ferrari 250 California. Partly this was due to vehicle availability and partly it was done as a need to balance out the offerings.

Re: AF Forza 3 Racing League
I'd requested that day off a while back to get a broken bolt replaced on my car. I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day
Re: AF Forza 3 Racing League
I'm disappointed they didn't get a lot of the good stuff. Vehicle availabilty my ass.
Looks like it will be a good pack though.
