Oh, and fuck the Colts management for not going for the perfect season. After today, which they were handling until the starters were pulled, there was only Buffalo. I think even the backups could have taken them.

Besides, the Colts Super Bowl win was done during the one year they didn't rest their starters. All the other years they rested and got bounced, sometimes in embarrassing fashion. Wonder what'll happen this year?

Even though the bears won, they still need a new coaching staff, starting with Ron Turner. I honestly think there is nothing wrong with Cutler, ever since he's gotten here, he's been playing horribly. He doesn't suck, there just is no team there to back him up, mainly due to shitty coaching.

I was changing channels and the Bears were up something like 16-0. How did they let that game go to OT?

I'd say a little of both. Momentum and getting into a rhythm plays a decent part of things. I've seen games where the offense isn't playing for shit, but then the defense comes up with an interception at a crucial time, and then the offense gets fired up. But the way the game is structured, teams get a chance to respond to a good drive.


And I do believe Eric Mangini saved his job. That'll be interesting to see if the Browns carry that over into next year.

Since possession in football is static (most in sports except baseball), very small events like one bad pass, one blown coverage, etc. can create giant changes in game momentum.

the cowboys are just that good. that eagles arent as good as their record indicates. they just got 11-5 because they played alot of crappy teams. and dont forget they lost to the raiders.

A Chargers-Colts AFC Championship game is a scary prospect. The Chargers have had the Colts number lately.

The matchups in the playoffs this year are really interesting. I have no idea how things are going to shake out. Lots of really good teams.
