I like a good action movie as much as the next person. But give me a little subtlety to it. The Bourne movies were much better.

I haven't read the Bourne books. Storm says they're good but meh. The movies were awesome enough.

Re: The Not-So-New Movie Thread
I just picked up T1 & T2 Skynet Edition on Blu-Ray. Both for about $30. I'd been waiting for a T2 with the extended sceens and they finally made it.

Re: The Not-So-New Movie Thread
ok nevermind. internet helped me "get" the movie...
"And if you don't think this sounds like the movie for you, try the drinking game: Every time flame shoots out of something(motorbike, car, microphone) someone takes a drink themselves, yells "Rock and Roll" or combs their hair, have one yourself, then maybe you will see the brilliance that is Wild Zero."

Re: The Not-So-New Movie Thread
Just watched:
2012 - CRAP
Boondock Saints 2 - Loved it
Public Enemies - Know it was based on truth, was OK, got a little boring.
Planet 51 - Funny movie but you have to like animated movies.
Jennifers Body - HORRIBLE, think I fast forwarded most of the movie.

Ive read one of them and theyre good but not all that related to the film.
seriously, watch all three of them, in succession if possible. Id say the Godfathers were the best films ever made, but the Bourne Trilogy is my favourite.

Saw Despicable Me - Good
Tropic Thunder - Meh
Tried to watch Step Brothers again, but fell asleep. - Good the first time, but dammit, someone at work keep playing sound clips from it on their Droid phone at work, making me want to watch it again.

Swerve wrote:I bought it at JB last weekend, along with a few other (so far great) movies I had also not seen:
Shoot'em Up (the consistent ridiculousness makes it easier on the brain)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (very different kind of Western)
The Heartbreak Kid (like Something About Mary only not as funny but with some consolation nudity from this blonde)
Sukiyaki Western Drango (haven't watched yet but looks promising)
Driven (have seen before - no good, but I must collect all car movies)
Shoot'em Up has an amazing scene involving an unbuckling of seatbelt followed by intentional head on with van full of evil doers. I've never seen anything quite so over the top, with the possible exception of every other scene in the movie. Everyone has to like Clive Owen, although Monica Belucci is irritable for leaving her clothes on.
Sukiyaki Western Django was awesome.

would he not have written some kind of normal decent/proper last post? rather than https://aflite.darkbb.com/other-sports-f6/lol-canada-t3936.htm#80374
Re: The Not-So-New Movie Thread
maybe he died in an accident and not by his own hand. either that or he's in prison. i can't imagine many other scenarios that would fit.

He never was on facebook even when he was a mad poster here. I accepted his friend request, but I think he posted once or twice and that was it.
