Catching a Cold in Time for my Birthday

So it's my birthday tomorrow night, and I expect my party's going to be something of a shit-show.

Thankfully, fate has blessed me with the beginnings of a terrible cold, just in time to manifest itself in full bloom on the big day. Fffffffffffuck.

I'm not sure if this is technically a rue, or a woe. I'm inclined to think rue, but I may be mistaken about that.

I associate rue with things that are under my control. For instance, I now rue subletting a room with a single bed and a slanty roof. Keeps things interesting, I guess...
