It's toned down, more like their last generation of cars. It wouldn't surprise me to read (if only I bothered reading anything) this was done by the guy behind the current Maseratis.

The one thing about this car is it doesn't look very wide by Ferrari standards. But the stats say it's very similar to a 430, which is a ridiculously wide car (especially for its length).

I think the 599 has some awkward details, but the flying buttress C-pillar is just too awesome.

The 599's looks lack class IMO. It doesn't have a flowing, The headlights look cheap, the taillights are too few and it's not charming like an Aston or sleek like a Murcielago.

i've never liked ferrari's headlight styles. i have no other issues with the 599, though.
