Went looking at cars today

I'm so lost, i want/need something reliable and fuel efficient to drive around with.

There is one Suzuki Sx4 sedan still hanging out with a manual trans, it's ugly but can be had for cheap.
Fiat 500's can sort of be had for a reasonable amount of money they are just kind of small but not really

Used cars are outrageously overpriced in my area

I like the 500. I think it's a pretty nice car for what it is. The only thing is, they aren't selling like Fiat thought they would, so the dealer lots are overflowing with them.

Fiat really needs to sell some other models here.

Surely you can find a used car that is reasonably priced and reliable and interesting...

used car prices in the states are kind of pricey right now.

2007 Chevrolet Cobalts are going for like 7k+

Occasionally some Focusesesees can be reasonable, but i hate those cars.

all the cars from the mid 2000's are still going for about 6-9K, and that just doesn't seem worth it for a car with 120K on it.

I did find a Passat wagon 5-spd, but it was gone before i could get to it.

Yeah, used car prices are ridiculous right now and have been for the last year or so.

I know everyone becomes conditioned to thinking the local prices are expensive. But what gets me about the UK and US is the difference between average and luxury cars is pretty small. Here a new Fiesta starts at about $16,000 but a WRX or MX5 is over 40.
As an enthusiast, I could easily justify stretching to a cooler car in your country. Here it's much harder and you still pay top dollar for used.

Yes it's a sport, only option is spare tire.

The interior is pretty cool, if not a little dark and boring compared to other 500's. It's black with dark gray accents on the seats, only color is on the dash with it it being blue.

For small car interiors, this is my favorite. I like the gauge cluster, but I know not everyone likes it.
