I've actually gone back to CoD4 lately. Working on prestige now. I still love that game.

Silenced skorp, bandolier, uav jammer and dead silence is one loadout i never get rid of. Every other one I have uses the same perks, i just tend to stick to the g3, mini ak, m16 or mp44.

i used to like the m4 with the acog scope and stopping power . or the m60 with the shoot from the hip perk. killed lots of motherfuckers with that :talon2:

The ACOG's shoulder time takes too long imo. Red dot is far superior.

i use it sometimes but for stages where im more likely to see people at a medium - far range i use the acog. like that one stage with the house and the shallow canyon and tall grass. and i always got just as good if not better scores than with the red dot.

ive only played the first one on pc, butttt thats because it was only available on pc. i thought of getting 4 for it, but i wasnt sure how well it would run on my comp. the nice thing about consoles is that you dont have to worry about requirements or any of that bullshit. just pop a game in and play.

I just got WaW and its quite fun. Just doing the single player stuff right now. I do like the level of gore. Its a nice touch. Need to get modern warfare though.

The problem I have with the single player is that veteran was nearly impossible. I know it's supposed to be hard but they make it hard in bullshit ways. Example: I'm hiding somewhere and granades start to land directly at my feet one after another until I've thrown back 10 or more.

I think I prefer it on the xbox. The controls are very fluid and in the first one you had to switch from your gun to your grenades and shit like that.

whats the furthest anyone has made it on zombie level single player? I just made it to 9 last night and shit myself when they all came running at once

I've always found single player cod to suck. COD4 had the best of the series because of the variety in levels, but they all have the same stupid flaws. Enemies respawn in rooms you already cleared, they take 1000 bullets to kill while you take like 4. your teammates are of no value and the events are super-scripted to the point where it seems you have no control of the outcome of anytihng.

I don't know about the other games as I've only played COD4, but COD4's single player was pretty short, and I hated how enemies just kept respawning indefinitely until you advanced, which was often hard to do because you had to get out of cover to get your ass shot off by the infinitely respawning enemies.

the original one not the new one, but yeah when going it alone that mystery box can make or break ya. flamethrower ftw.

the flamethrower's fun to use but it takes too long to kill them at later stages when they start running and shit. the ray gun and mg42 are the best combo overall. the browning is good too. it has a better sight than the mg42, but takes alot longer to reload. i think the best i ever got to on the original one solo was 18 or 19. my brother and i got to 28.

The flamethrowers biggest problem is that it blinds you. When they're a bit tougher and on fire you can't see shit.
