Heres the hypocrisy though.

One of the major attacks against Obama and his wife from the RNC has been that they're "elitists" - the sherry drinking, opera attending "Fraiser" crowd types. Obama wears pants that are 10 years old, and his wife dresses in off-the-rack clothes from 'The Gap', and other middle of the road stores. (as a brief aside, they obviously don't all do that). Palin, on the other hand, is made up in the finest threads from the biggest, most expensive, places in America - if not the world. $150,000.00 on clothes? In a few months? That's orders of magnitude worse than $400 hair cuts (as absurd as those are).

It's the juxtoposition here that is so shocking. This is the self-styled "hockey mom". The "down to earth" sort who believes the best of America is found in small town, blue collar, working class America. And the RNC spends the equivalent of a foreclosed house on her wardrobe. Unbelievable.

But that's not what Palin said or believed. Pfotenhauer was trying to convince the hosts that Palin was simply putting it in little kid context, which was ridiculous considering she was talking to Katie Couric. Pfotenhauer was right that there may be some informal discussions about policy, but that's clearly not what Palin believed, and Pfotenhauer was trying to convince them otherwise.

Hahahaha...Newt Gingrich is calling the Palin impersonations on SNL "slander." Which is odd because a lot of the things Tina Fey says on the show are taken verbatim from Palin's speeches and interviews :roflmao:

Also read where Palin's denying that she got $150,000 worth of clothes and saying how oh so frugal they are. And then a costume designer on SNL talked about how just on the show, Palin wanted nicer clothes than what they were giving her for the skits. :roflmao:

I know just enough about foreign policy to probably be dangerous...

So he knows something about foreign policy, but not about paying his taxes?
