It's so true.

Yet almost every idiot in this country can't see that the republicans are fucking it up. Yeah I don't agree on every little thing the democrats want to do, but I hate almost everything the republicans do and want to do.

It makes it very difficult with a father who is severely republican that wants to talk politics all the time.

I'm a democrat, too, but I have to admit some of the blame does lie with Obama. It seems like he's BSOD'd.
It's like we voted for him with the promise of another Kennedy or Clinton and ended up getting another Carter.

Actually, if you look back to the 2008 elections, everyone was promising stuff I don't think could be fulfilled in a single presidential term with how fucked this country was.

He tried to compromise too much. It was good at first to get everyone's buy-in on things, but when it became clear that the GOP would stop at nothing to see every one of his initiatives fail and not budge an inch on anything, he should have chucked that togetherness shit out the window.

As fucked as his domestic policy has been, oddly enough his foreign policy has been quite strong, IMHO.
