Hmm, I hadn't heard this yet, and it's not in the paper today, at least not the first dozen pages. Needs some investigating me thinks. It's very strange as there was a court decision a couple of years back that set the precedent that it wasn't illegal even to swear at the police.

Well this isn't the courts doing it, it's new legislation, so unless it's unconstitutional....it'll probably go into effect.
