To hell with this kid

This is just down the road from me. In the picture, the kid is clocking a vehicle on a state highway in a 55 MPH zone OUTSIDE OF THE SUBDIVISION. A highway on which I almost NEVER see anyone go above 45 for some peculiar reason, let alone speeding.

The boy also carries a flashlight with a built-in siren.
Subdivision resident George Ayers said he has seen drivers lock up their brakes when they saw Landon clocking them.
Officials say the city will install speed humps in the neighborhood if 70 percent of residents agree and are willing to put up half the money.

isn't that illegal? i've heard people get in big big big trouble for mimicking a speed camera in their front yard. i've heard people get in real big trouble for posing as a police officer . . .
i can't believe they let this kid do, especially in the states
also, that kid could be in rather big danger, when people drive back to complain to the cops, only to find it's some fucktard 10yo. he's gonna die.

Decided to change the title before Chris Hansen got the wrong idea and showed up to see what was going on.

the police actually encourage this shit here. they kit out residents with radar guns and give them a log sheet so anyone they 'catch' speeding will get a letter saying they were caught and if it had been a real cop theyd have a fine on their way now. everytime i see these good for nothing, jobsworth scumbags i make a point of swerving slightly to frighten the bastards. they should be shot...or made to get real jobs

When I was younger I used to sometimes take my dad's flash for his SLR out the front at night and hide behind some bushes and flash cars when they went past to make them think they'd just been done on a speed camera. 
One time while doing this though a cop car came and pulled up the driveway and we shit ourselves. We hid and then snuck around the back of the house while the cop was inside only to see through the window and realise it was just my uncle who was a cop popping in to see my dad.
