Actually, I'd start a company with a couple of sports cars, similar to what Porsche was before the Cayenne and Panamera came along.
A two seat convertible competing with the MX5 and a 2+2 to rival the 911.

My dream is to start my own sports/supercar company, some long day off in the future. like the American answer to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, etc.
I had been drawing up fantasy designs since i was in high school, but alas, I seem to have grown out of that, as i haven't done that since the old AF was on its second-to-last server. Maybe I should sit down and try to design something modern looking, update my favorite original ideas.

I had had an idea to apply to a road-going supercar a while back that would incorporate the aerodynamic suction fan idea from the Chapparal 2J and Brabham BT6 (or whatever it was called) racecars, only the suction fans (one on each side) would be driven off the clutch (the faster the engine spins, the faster the fans spin) and the midship-mounted engine would feed off the post-fan air before it exited out the back of the car, providing a mild supercharging effect to offset the drag the fans would put on the engine. under high speeds, the suspension would aid suction by crouching the car lower to the ground. and there would also be two active aero pieces, a small one in the front grille that deflects at varying angles depending on speed and braking, and and active spoiler similar to a cross between the design on the Carrera GT and the new McLaren, with much the same function as the front, only its larger.
But then there I'm treading father into engineering territory, and out of design territory.

well, Enzo can rest assured that usually they're selling them to third party auto brokers who give them chrome vynil wraps and then sell them to Arab royalty at a hefty profit.

I would call my car company "Talon Inc" and have one car called "The Arm" with a gajillion hp and tq!

Bristol have the right idea. To buy one you meet the company owner....if he doesnt like you, youre not getting one.

I remember Liam Gallagher had a Bristol. They're meant to be the worst car in the world when value is taken into account.

Well I described a company building an MX5 rival, so I'm not sure that it would be out of reach of new money customers. Although I'd be a bit worried if I was Ferrari and my business model changed direction to focus on a more typically conservative demographic...the sort less inclined to buy flashy sports cars.
