And it's not an unheard-of thing to have someone sit in the car to do the alignment properly.

what the fuck is wrong with these people? do your fucking research and talk to a real mechanic. the kia people told her exactly the right thing. having her sit her fat ass in the car while they did the alignment would actually be the best thing to do to solve the problem. that's why you're supposed to align a car with a half a tank of gas in it.

That's what I don't get either. Heavy is fine. Being a little over weight, out of shape, etc. Whatever. That happens as people get older, start working, etc. But the really grotesquely overweight?
