Nissan 370Z
Personally I think it kinda looks like ass. Like a mutated 350z.

Re: Nissan 370Z
it's leaner and meaner. it's not cleaner, but it does have some good angles. i'm reserving judgement until i see it in person, although i don't hate it. i would rather a G37 though...

Yup, I went down and saw it when it first came in here, its really pretty sharp in person, front is a bit odd at first though..
overall, A-
overall, A-
Re: Nissan 370Z
i like everything about it. the interior went from bullshit to awesome with the new tach/speedo, replaced plastic, etc. i'm still not thrilled about the orange gauges, but whatever.

I do think the L-shape thing is gay, but it looks better here than it does on the Maxima.

gah, i just looked it up, and it's the beyonce episode. the first time it was on, i didn't know who the musical guest was going to be, and while she was performing, i was reading something on my comp and thinking, 'fuck, who's singing this god-awful song?' looked up, and there's beyonce prancing around like a fucking mule.

I can. It's too much power for too little money. Just encourages young, upstarts like you and I to experience the thrill of a high powered, low cost sports car right before the heavy hand of reality bitch-smacks us upside the head with 2.5 kids, a white picket fence and an underpowered FWD minivan.
Fuck Nissan.

Yeah, Colin doesn't really give a shit anymore I guess. He works weird hours at work anyway and I never see him online. The Chris I refer to used to be an afer too... fism aka jism.

Here's the problem. We're engaged almost in a sort of reverse evolution. idiots are breeding like jackrabbits. Intelligent people, however, in large measure, are choosing your route. Pursing their own interests etc. Not having kids for ecological reaons. Not having kids for economical reasons. Not having kids simply because they don't see why they should. Basically opting out of the whole breeding game.

It's wierd though, too. I find that as people get older they start wanting kids more and more.

actually, wally, i have a theory about this phenomena:
our species has needed to reach this point of disconnect between socioeconomic classes. we're all so resistant to the change we surely need, and to overcome that barrier the species needs to saturate its interior ranks with weakness, in order for the superior groups to emerge de facto stronger. this would be after a good deal of internal struggle, via disease, crime, wars, etc., and it should theoretically set the bar at a higher level going forward.

I really like the Fit. Probably my favorite small car next to the Mini.
I went with the Civic, but if they had had a Fit Sport with the 5 speed on the lot it'd have been a close one.

Re: Nissan 370Z
hey, i'm breeding. i want to be a parent, and i'm looking forward to it. i know a fair number of pretty smart people with kids, so i'm not sure the theory holds water. i think the idiots get the publicity, but they did even a hundred years ago (think of all the "social improvement" movements and eugenics crap, and the stories used to justify it).thewalrus wrote:honor man wrote:i dont know why anyone would ever want to have kids. theyre expensive as fuck and its a pain in the ass to raise them.

the species will survive, inspite of the stupidity of the individuals. we may suffer a civilizational crash in the process, but in our own materialistic ignorance, we may very well deserve that...
