Motor City Online was a great idea, but the in-game costs were so prohibitive and the game so full of shitheads, that no one would race on any fun tracks for fear of fucking up their car on twisty or bouncy terrain, or having someone else fuck up their car by driving the course backwards. That would mean huge repair bills and slow advancement through the game. Night after night, it was the same thing. "Oh look, everyone's on the oval again. Ho hum."

If they could have gotten the economy straight, it would have been a great game.

I enjoyed the need for speeds all the way up to underground 2. After that they sucked. They really need a Hot Pursuit 3 or High Stakes 2. I think High Stakes was my favorite.

i just drag raced mostly. i had a 7 second 65 mustang/

anyway, the need for speed world online sounds pretty fuckin awesome though, im already looking forward to it

i had the most fun with need for speed 2 for the PS1. that game introduced me to the mclaren f1.

i used to love watching the intro to that game with the italdesign and the xj220.
