i saw some vids. looks fun. i loved the first two.

i never played the other ones, but i picked this up because it got good reviews. it reminds me alot of the need for speed underground games, which i played both of.

i heard that new need for speed undercover game sucks btw.

yeah, i think they've lost their way with N4S.

I've been wanting to try it out. I might rent it this weekend if it's in.

its tough to get away from the cops though. at least in a lightly modified 240sx..

id say about 66% arcadey/33% sim

normally i dont like anything but sims like gt and forza, but this is pretty fun

rent it, see what you think. it got high ratings on gaming sites too.

some arcadey games are awesome. there was some goofy dirtbike/monster truck/bi-plane game for the xbox that was 100% arcade, and it was a blast. i want to say it was called mx unleashed, but i'm not sure.

Yeah, nothing wrong with arcadey driving games once in a while. I like the simmy games, but every once in a while, you just want to jump in a car and drive like hell.

whoa, the pink slip races, even against the pc, are serious. you cant restart or quit or you lose your car. ok, so i was losing and thought that cutting the power to my xbox would save my car. nope, when i turned it back on and loaded up my game again my 240sx, my first car, was gone.

yeah, not many people would be dumb enough to wager their cars in a race against a bike in real life. its nice to have the bikes as a failsafe though. unless its a race against other bikes, then it gets tricky.

I actually enjoyed MW and Pro Street. Carbon sucked some heavy balls though, and from what I've been hearing about Undercover, I'm not too sure about that either, though I haven't played it yet. I mean when they first started leaking teaser clips, it looked like they were going to finally make another badass NFS game, and then....EPIC LETDOWN.

I also wanted to get Midnight club LA but it's only on PS3, and I don't have one yet, not until summer I don't think, so I'm still stuck with my trusty (slooooowwww) little PS2 slim.

And what is this game "Grid"? Anybody played that one, how is that? It looked pretty good from the demo vid.

need for speeds sucked for a long time. i played the original one and the 2nd and hot pursuit and high stakes and all, but the last one i enjoyed at all were the underground ones. undercover, most wanted, carbon, and pro street all suck imo.

oh, porsche unleashed was pretty decent too

my fave was motor city online though, that didnt last for long though.
