i think it's ironic that mccain's best speech of the campaign is his concession speech.
It's almost like the 2000 McCain made a return at the end.

If he had better advisors and hadn't picked Sarah Palin, he'd have won. His advisors fucking ruined his chance to presidency.

i think it would have been closer, but obama was as close to unbeatable as you can get.

I don't know...if he was truly the Maverick he used to be and claimed to be, I don't know if Obama could've flipped a lot of those states.

I'm pretty sure any Democrat was close to unbeatable, considering the republican party's last 8

Agreed. I'm kind of glad McCain won Arizona. I feel bad for him right now.

I'm surprised they didn't boo when McCain offered his condolences to Obama regarding his grandmother.
McCain still has some class. The same can't be said for his campaign team and a lot of his supporters.

Re: THE OFFICIAL US ELECTION DAY THREAD
I've paid my dues, time after time
I've done my sentence, but committed no crime
And bad mistakes, I've made a few
I've had my share of sand, kicked in my face
But I've come through
And I need to go on and on and on and on
We are the champions, my friend
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
We are the champions, We are the champions
No time for losers 'cos we are the champions of the world
I've taken my bows, and my curtain calls
You've bought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it... I thank you all
But it's been no bed of roses, no pleasure cruise
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race
And I ain't gonna lose
And I need to go on and on and on and on
We are the champions, my friend
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
We are the champions, We are the champions
No time for losers 'cos we are the champions of the world

That was a great flick. My only criticism was the dub of Sigourney Weaver's line to bring it away from an R rating...when she asked why there was that room with the giant pistons they had to get across, and when Tim Allen said it was because it was in the show, you could clearly see she said, "Well fuck that!" And they dubbed "screw" over "fuck."

hahaha somebody is either lighting off fireworks outside or shooting off a gun. frankly, it sound more like the latter and would be less surprising.

Talk like that when your country does anything half this amazing, like, you know, electing an aborigine.
