a ray of hope for the elections!
i've been concerned because of the latest polling showing obama/mccain in a virtual dead head. however, it was mentioned to me today that the polling is done only of people with landlines for telephones. a large percentage of the younger population has a cell phone only, so, even at a dead heat poll result, there's a chance that obama still has an edge. (yes, there are young republicans with cell phones, etc., but they suck )

hahaha yeah, I've heard similar reports. That there is a fairly substantial bias in current polling techniques, and that a lot of people who would support Obama are probably not adequately sampled.
Basically polls tend to skew things towards angry octogenarians with land line phones, hours of free time, and an ax to grind. Like McCain.

If by "interesting" you mean potentially very very bad, then yes.

Fuck that dude. You won't be wishing for that break in monotony when we're paying 10 bucks a gallon for gas and going to war against Russia to protect Georgia.

It would also be interesting to see if they polled people with VOIP or just straight telco users.
