Peter Egan - retiring. No more side glances.
This hurts.
Man, that guy got me into cars, and helped define what I really ended up liking.
Great writer, and he sounds like a pretty cool guy too - with all the right interests (cars, music, guitars, planes, etc. etc.)
Ah man, this month was his last article. He'll still be contributing, but damn, I'm going to miss picking it up and going right to Side Glances.

He lives here in WI if anyone wants me to go hunt him down and beg him to come back.

I know eh? And I just renewed my subscription. I guess he'll still do periodicals. But nothing regular any more.ryguy79 wrote:Mang, that was the only reason to read that magazine.
His last article was great, though. Fitting send off.

Why, yes, I suppose I am.
BACK! GET BACK WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

Interesting. I did a google search on that quote and ended up reading an article about a guy who left the Internet for a year. It sounds like it was a total failure and he became even more anti social .
Not sure why I bothered to share that.
