LAWL, got it half apart and realized you have to drop the oil pan to get the timing chain cover off...so now i have to rush and try to do it all in one day...............crap

i was thinking of using a miata for a project but 240s are pretty sweet looking. plus a little roomier for a big dufus like me. too bad theyre somewhat hard to find. :curses:

just dont do a timing chain change....cause a week later we're still trying to get it running lol

240's are neat though just because there are so many options, directions you can go with them.

Miatas are like that too though i suppose...

they are getting less hard again as the fast and furious generation grows up...I bought my chassis for 400$ :jay:

Dodge, I went for a drive in the hills yesterday with a couple of buddies with bikes and (more relevantly) a couple more with 180SXs. Due to accident damage, one of the cars was red but with a matt grey bonnet and one white front guard. That one had a few issues due to coilovers too stiff and low for the (I thought pretty smooth) roads. The front tyres - either 235 or 245s - were rubbing the wheelarches around corners and I think the car lost traction at the rear over a couple of bumps even on the straights.

The other 180 blew an intercooler hose on the way home.

It seems that Nissan build a good car that is then either modded or neglected to death.

Oh, and a second white 180 was going to come along, but coilovers had been installed the previous weekend and the owner spent all yesterday unsuccessfully looking for a place that could do the wheel alignment. Everywhere was either too busy or wouldn't do an alignment on a car so low.

Which makes three individual 180SXs causing grief for their owners on the one Saturday.

500$, front fender is damaged...body is all straight otherwise, interior is old and nasty. But runs drives and moves so it'll be my car for the next few months

There is a car dealer south of me that just went out of business, they have gotten rid of all their cars and the only one that is left on the lot is a S13 Coupe. I like the way it looks but it's not for sale.
