Only one real question to ask yourself before you all vote for the next President. But first it's not a question about gays and gay marriage, nor is it about anti-abortion or pro-choice. It's not even about the war in Iraq as you do not have a conscription army so you can avoid fighting the war by not volunteering to join if you want. The one question you must ask before you vote in November is.

Ask yourself this. "Am I better off today than I was prior to 2000?" If your answer is yes then maybe you will want to vote for McCain taking in maybe the other issues then such as 3 possible supreme court nominations and the taking away of a significant womans' right? If you answer no then there is no reason to vote for McCain as he has embraced each and every social/economic policy of the current admin. ( hardly a maverick as he likes to coin) as well as fully supports staying in Iraq for as he says up to 100 years.

It is this simple and the most significant question you may ask yourself prior to the election.

on Google and just read about and look at the photos of her and her daughter Bristol. Now make with it what you want but! If she was pregnant and she went into labour while in Texas and chose to fly home to Alaska a 44 year old expectant mother rather than deliver in a major Texas hospital and goes to a small town hospital to deliver the baby (8 hour flight) without telling the airline as she is suppose to (any mother over 7 months is suppose to notify the airlines) that her water had supposedly broke well then she is an irresponsible mother. But if she went home because her daughter went into labour in the small town hospital where she could possibly use her power as governor and former mayor to cover this up to assume the MOTHER role well then all her hoity toity religious morality BULLSHIT is flying in the face of what may be.

On top of this people, this woman is a member one one of the strongest anti- abortion groups around. She is even against the use of condoms and other birth control being given to married couples. let alone no Sex Ed in schools and no abortion services even for rape. She wants to have creationism taught science class. So this woman will be seen for her narrow mindedness (un- Hilary Clinton-like women voters who support Hilary) and maybe the hypocritical person she may be. Pass it on even if you may not want to believe it, just read up and look into what is being said along with the photos of woman who was supposedly in the late term pregnancy. A photo of her pregnant with her first child she looked like the Good Year Blimp. BTW possibly conceived out of wedlock too based on time tables.

This woman is the best McCain could find? Oh but McCain's wife says she is qualified on all foreign policy because Alaska is just miles away from Russia. F**K are these people are nuts. Palin has no real foreign travel she needed a passport made to go to Kuwait, she only has travelled to Canada and once to Ireland THAT'S IT FOLKS!

Finally she has begun wiping her Wikipedia page clean but she is not too smart as her page is cached and one can show where her or her subordinates have made changes to it.

Remember folks the right is all about lies and distortions. This story noted her deserves more investigation and we all need to spread the word to each other and the media . If it's all for not than McCain and Palin have little to worry about other than her stupidity to fly 8 hours without notifying Alaska airlines that she was apparently in labour.

On the Camaro forum I'm going to, someone posted something another person posted on a GOP blog, basically saying that she has tons of defense experience because as governor, she was commander of the Alaskan National Guard and defended a huge landmass bordering two countries. :roflmao:

OMG we have polar bears invading from the north, Siberian villagers from the west, and for some reason Canada's invading us too! Deploy the entire might of the Alaskan National Guard, but make sure all three of the snowmobiles have fresh treads on them.

I was talking about this with someone earlier, and they posited that maybe she's just being used for the eye candy now, and then when McCain is elected, maybe 6 months into the gig, she'll resign citing pressing family issues, and then McCain will be free to appoint a vice president more in line with what the GOP really wants...someone they don't see helping him get elected now.

And what about the argument that she is a negligent mother who will be distracted from her important role? I am a mother who constantly feels the pressure from others about whether I am fit to be a parent, whether I put my kids first often enough and whether my children get enough of my attention. Who has the right to judge my family?

My grandmother always said, "You can't tell time on someone else's clock." Judgments about people's personal lives are better left unsaid and unrealized.

I hate that everyone assumes she should be at home to take of her kids; why is that solely her responsibility? Why can't her husband be the primary caretaker while she pursues her dreams? It's a very sexist attitude to say that a woman's place is in her home.

We'll see what else comes out about her. I fully intend to do as much as I can to ensure that Obama is elected, but I still believe that McCain made a poor choice with Palin. He energised the Republican base, but I think that Palin with her ultra conservative social views will push away a lot of undecided voters who may have been swayed over to the Republican side with the selection of a more centrist VP.

BUT! it's not about complacency the fight is on the regressives will do anything to try to win and progressives must answer the same. It must be waged until Nov 4.
