Multiplayer COD3 was as good as either of the others. 24 players and with the best net code seen on the 360 for minimal lag when playing with internationals.

I was pretty good at knowing where people would be so that was never a problem.

The M1 Garand was just awesome in it too, like the the sniper rifles were in COD2. I'd pretty much use it on every level. wub

i havent even played the cod3 multi yet, but i can say that the ai, friendly and hostile, in the single player is undoubtedly some of the most moronic and annoying ive ever encountered. they dont even attempt to find cover most of the time, especially the privates. they just run in to a nest of enemies, not even firing most of the time, and of course get mowed down. then more keep coming and getting killed in the same spot in the same way by the same enemies, and before you know it theres a pile of 20 of my buddies' corpses on the ground. and they just keep doing the same stupid shit over and over. they dont help at all, they just get in the way. so now not only do i have to worry about the enemies, i have to worry about accidentally shooting one of my pea-brained buddies who just runs out in the middle of the shit and having it give me the lame ass "friendly fire will not be tolerated!" message and restarting the mission. they really dropped the ball on the ai in this game.

and why does everything have such a big invisible space bubble around it? ill be trying to shoot someone with the barrel of my gun at least 6 inches from certain points of certain objects like trucks or 88s and it will register as hitting that object. its so lame. this game has good graphics, thats about it. the rest is shoddy at best.

and try shooting one of those nazis who leans around the corners to fire in the face with a sniper rifle. it doesnt register for some reason and i always have to get up close to take him out. its so fucking lame. this game makes me want to put my 360 through my tv.

as far as single player goes cod 3 is absolutely the worst one out of the 4 games.

In case you don't know.

COD1, 2 and 4 were made by infinity ward who will be making 6 (officially announced just today or yesterday).

Call of duty: Big Red One, Call of duty 3, Call of duty 5 (and some PC addon to COD I do believe) were made by Treyarch.

And that, my friend, is exactly why there's a gender gap.

I'm a big fan of hack-and-slash games, or ones where you fight through missions and stuff. One of my all-time favorite line of games is Dynasty Warriors, just for all the mindless massacre. I think Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Justice League Heroes would come in after that.
