What's your point? A couple hilljacks and from the skipping around I did they that Ratrod was a POS.
I post a kick ass vid and the fact I love the new Lambo and the first post is someone trying to shit on it. What a surprise...

You said you'd kill for a Aventador, these guys would not. Also, the drag race. Plus its funny.
Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
I saw a 450whp BRZ the other day. They should retry using one like that.

Supposedly, they're making a turbo version...

Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
Just watched the Rat Rod video. Yeah, that thing was a POS. Looked cool but that's about it. And that guy is pretty ignorant saying the Lambo isnt $400k worth of fast. You're not just paying for a drag racing machine here buddy, you're paying for the lamborghini name, styling, technology, etc. Kind of surprised a "professional" would have such a narrow view like that. 400k actually seems quite reasonable to me compared to what other supercars cost.

And white is about the last color I'd get that car in.

I skipped through here and there and the whole time that RR was a POS. Every time one of them was in it they were complaining about it. Then at the end, the one dude’s all, “These are just expensive show cars… you’d never drive it the way it was meant to be driven.” Ignorant bullshit. That thing would be at Mid-Ohio faster than it would take that POS RR to kill someone via carbon monoxide poisoning.
Fuck those two ‘necks. The fact they don’t like the Lambo makes me like it more.

Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
I want a BRZ. Will probably look for a used one to supplement the FJ in a few years. Despite the lack of dead digs and highway rolls, I must say, excuse me fine gentlemen, it looks like it would be a blast in the montangs.

From everything I’ve read, it looks to be like a Miata’s bigger brother. It might not have a ton of power, but probably very satisfying to drive. It would be perfect for a beginner’s track car.

Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
I've actually been contemplating getting an FR-S, but debadged inside and out, save for the little 86 symbols on the fenders. Then I may or may not do an aftermarket Toyota 86 rebadge. depends on how it looks. The Subaru would be wicked awesome, and they'll more than likely be doing a turbo/STi version of some sorts, but the Scion is just a wee bit more attainable, and for about the same price of the BRZ, I could get a little bit of TRD parts added into the chili.

I looked at BRZs when I bought the GTI. Not practical enough for an only car, for me. Awesome though. Was sorely tempted.

Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
Hmm, this thread turned interesting towards the end. Having said that I did watch the Rat Rod v Lambo video in full. Completely unhelpful nonsense is the result of the video, but whatever.
It did make me think about hiring a ferarri or lambo or doing a supercar drive day when I head back up to Queensland next month though. They generally involve 360's and the original Gallardo's though which won't cut it if i'm paying for such an experience. One did mention a TVR convert though which I found more interesting. Forget the model. Wasn't one that we'd know from games, not living in the UK and all. Started with a C.
Anyway, i'm very interested in the 86 / BRZ as my next car in a couple of years once I have my debt paid off. From what I've read a little while ago the 0-60 results were generally around the 7 1/2 range, which compared to my 10 year old Renault which is supposed to be about a 6.9 with the same power to weight ratio seems pretty shitty.
Does anyone have any first hand experience yet? I assume given the times it is just not great off the line, which in the real world does not matter, and I think I might have read that the shift to 3rd comes in just before the mark.
As for the Subie vs Toyota (Scion?, because you're all fucking retarded?) thing over there, what is up with that? What sort of price difference are you looking at? And for what? From what I saw a while back when Subie announced there prices they seemed that they were going to be charging quite a bit more for not much more car.

Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
Hmm, no I don't think so. Had to be a bit newer and much more obviously TVR from a similar angle but only seeing the front. That looks far too much Porsche from any distance.
The pic I saw it in was probably only about that size on the page for, but it showed the 360, Gallardo, Elise (because that is a comparable car) and TVR all in the same shot. The TVR was the third from the camera. The thing is I was looking at the cars before reading the cars involved and I was like, that sure looks like a TVR. Didn't expect it would be though given that they weren't sold here to the best of my knowledge (I did see a tuscan getting about about 5-6 year ago) until I read the text.
So it was even smaller than that pic, and didn't start with C, except for convertible. It's a Tamora. http://www.adrenalin.com.au/deluxe-supercar-tour-gold-coast/qld-gold-coast/motorsport/14532

Re: Worlds Greatest Dragrace 2
yes, Toyota USA is retarded.
hence, I would remove the Scion badges and maybe replace them with Proper Toyota GT86 badges.
