Thats crazy.My great uncle was a paratrooper in world war ii and had a german bullet (9mm from an MP40) lodged in his shoulder until he died a couple years ago at like 84.

Something related to that: my grandfather was an intellegence officer in charge of a recon company in WWII and he was at the Battle of Anzio. I read up on those operations recently just out of curiosity, and immediately afterwards, I thought, "fuck, it's a wonder I even exist."
