who the hell builds houses completely surrounding a bomb range..or the other way around whichever came first, i'm guessing the bomb range though.

I thought they usually test this stuff in the desert?

They've been using that bomb range for a long time, didn't know there was a residential hood nearby. Should have guessed, wherever there is land dumb people build houses. No matter WHAT is nearby it seems.
Looks like this will be the SECOND testing site they'll be kicked off of. First one was because a shockwave reached a nearby neighborhood causing broken windows and whatnot.
