its cool, now they actually have all 5 generations of camaro and 4 of the firebird in there. mustangs too, i think the only generation theyre missing is the 94-98 one, don't know why they never put those in, they were pretty cool imo.

Oh, I thought just the 94-98 were. The 99s and up are called "new edge" too.

i took a picture full of awesome last night. Evidiently the "owner" of these forgot to pay his storage unit bill for quite some time. I think they are just waiting for the abandoned vehicle paper work before they can do anything with them.

There is indeed much awesome to be had in that photo.
Did GM ever make a Pontiac-branded Motorhome, or is that just a GMC that's been dolled up to match the Firebirds?
clockbreaker wrote:those are in forza 4
Yes, and it makes quite a nice D-class vehicle.

It's a GMC. I believe those cars went on tour and that RV was a display vehicle.

What's the car parked in front of the Camaro? It almost looks like a badge-engineered version of a Chevy Corsica, and I'd hate to think we unleashed that foul thing upon your nation.
Re: Picture Full of Awesome
Kinda looks like an old Mitsubishi. Gallant or diamante or something.

Re: Picture Full of Awesome
Forgot to mention, That Falcon is what I bought my brother. Had to settle for an auto, but it's the XR6 with 225hp and a fair bit of torque from a 4.0L straight 6.
Not exactly to my taste but it will be cheap to maintain and amazingly (for an old Australian car) has no rattles.
Do you guys down there have the same feelings we have towards our Domestics? Like they're all pieces of shit?

DeLoreans seemed so cool when I was younger. Then I heard about the quality problems and how slow they are.

As someone said from another forum, There are about 15 DeLoreans in the AU, so it's about as rare as that Camaro.

I don't like the idea of messing with classic cars though.

Depends on the domestic and the time period. For the 90's and the beginning of the 2000's, yeah most of them are shitboxes.
I personally feel most Fords are pretty good these days, Lincolns aren't worth anything, select Chevies are okay while others are turds, Caddies are awesome, Buicks are meh, and most ChryCo products are shit up until the 2011 MY, where a few of them actually became competent.
And the 2002 Dodge Stratus is fantastic, but I'm literally the only person in America that feels that way.

Yeah I used to think like that until I started restoring them. Some cars need help.

Yes that's true, but from the 80's until the last few years, most American cars were rebuilt POSes off of the same chassis that hadn't changed in 20 years. They all just finally got a clue in the last 5 or 6 years that they needed all new chassis and engines. They waited until it was too late to make the changes they needed to increase sales.

I didn't write the last sentence in my post. I suspect someone was quoting me asking that question about Australia and the forum decided to merge the posts.
