I don't think that the graphics are subpar. I think tailhappy is right and a compressed YouTube video is not going to give you a great picture of graphic clarity. If anything, the graphics look more realistic. Until you see it on an HD screen, you can't really give it a good judgement.

We haven't seen an actual final build gameplay video that was not compressed on youtube..... I have heard (from fanboys and non) that HAVE seen or played it at a convention that it does look really good.
Not that I care, I was always a GT fanboy until I had to choose between getting a PS3 and WAITING a year or so, or getting a XBox and Forza.
Got FM3 and a Xbox (well, FM2 first). Thought about GT5 and a PS3. Heard all the bad shit about it. Didn't buy it.
Will buy FM4. Even though I am hearing some bad shit. Its not nearly as bad as the GT5 bad shit.

There's a video with the creative director talking about the game for 18 minutes, and he plays around with a replica of his real life car, a M3. Now the rear wheels on a STOCK M3 are larger than the fronts, and fill out those rear wheel arches very nicely. Well he has different wheels on his real car, so he put different wheels on his game car. And, just like in FM3, the rear wheels are the SAME SIZE as the fronts, leaving a silly looking gap in the rear wheel well.

Not a deal breaker, but tons of little details like this have been emerging, and the chances of them being fixed is getting slimmer and slimmers.

Oh, and it was announced yesterday the E-GAY, I mean, EA, holds the exclusive license to Porsche, and even though they allowed Turn10 to use them in FM3, they will NOT in FM4. So we go from 35 Porscheses to THREE RUF cars. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I didn't think someone could "hold" a license of another company. The license is owned by the parent company, so it should be able to be given out for anyone the parent company wants to give it to.

EA has held the rights to the NFL for years. That's how they get away with making minor changes to Madden every year and act like its a whole new game.

they did not..I don't know why devs have such a hard time doing basic fact checks on this stuff...just like in the NFS series they always tend to show the SE model..with no spoiler or sunroof...when that didn't exist, and its always missing the front lip, and has canadian driving lights...

I think they need to do Track Packs or something you could download, they'll let you download 50 or so cars that weren't originally in the game, but they won't let you download new tracks?

With ALMS being a part of FM4 we just might get Mid-Ohio..... there's still 5 new tracks that we don't know about yet....

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

FM3 had a flaw in that new tracks couldn't be added to the event list. They did have the Nurburgring GP track as DLC, but you couldn't really use it, except for online, and that assumes that everyone in the online room has downloaded it too. So it didn't really get used. In FM4, they mentioned how DLC cars will be incorporated into the leveling bonuses, and if they've found a way to similarly integrate new tracks into the event lists, then it could work.

It's my understanding that we already know all the new tracks. It was announced that there would be 5 new tracks compared to FM3, and those have been revealed to be the Bernese Alps, Top Gear test track, Hockenheim, Infineon, and Indianapolis. I don't think there are any more.
