Re: BTTF fans.....
bah you guys just don't know what's up.
There were a lot of really good scenes in the new movie - the grave yard scene was awesome. The chase through the campus was great. The ending was pretty good as well. The introduction fighting with the Russians scene on the American base was good too.
Yeah, there were some weak scenes too - they were mostly the ones with Le Douche. I mean you really can't expect this to match Harrison Ford AND Sean Connery in one movie, but I think it was about as good as Temple of Doom, possibly a bit better in fact.

You're right. He is smug. Very smug. Way too smug given what little he's accomplished so far.

No, Temple of Doom was dumber than Crystal Skull. It goes:
Raiders>Last Crusade>Crystal Skull>Temple of Doom
Crystal Skull wasn't bad at all, it just wasn't up to the hype.
And I took have had Enough LaBeouf

No, THIS is the worst Indiana Jones movie http://www.somethingawful.com/d/webcam-ward/indianajones.php (nsfw language)
Re: BTTF fans.....
I never saw the movie but I did watch the "fridge scene" clip on youtube and that was enough for me.thewalrus wrote:Talon wrote:thewalrus wrote:Talon wrote:thewalrus wrote:honor man wrote:SBF wrote:honor man wrote:yeah, i saw that a few years ago. good shit. oh and i thought maybe you had some info on a 4th movie or something.
Yeah.........Not happening
it's probably better that way. even if michael j. fox was still healthy, it would probably just be an abomination and a smear on the good name of the franchise like the latest indiana jones, rambo, rocky, and terminator films. that idea they were throwing around a few years ago about doc investigating the roswell incident with sarah michelle gellar being his protege, sounded like shit. im hoping that was just a rumour and not something they were actually considering.
at least i dont have to see ALL of my favorite movie franchises drowned in diarrhea and left for dead in a field.
INDIANA JONES WAS AWESOME.
I finally saw that new one. Got about an hour in and finally turned it off. Horrid.
You're just saying that because it's the "cool" thing to say.
Huh? No. It blew. Fucking aliens with crystal skulls... wtf? Oh no, you're sinking in quicksand... grab this snake I found. Oh, you don't like snakes so you'd rather sink and die? Ok, finally you grabbed it. I am sure a snake's body can hold the hundreds of pounds of force required to pull him out. Shia Lebouf and hard-core greaser? And Indi's long lost son?
FUCKING STUPID!
Plus, Ford just ain't what he used to be physically.
How are aliens with crystal skulls any less believable than the actual ark of the covenant with god inside? Or Indian cult priests that remove the still beating hearts of people - who manage to continue to survive?
It wasn't any more unbelievable than anything in the previous movies. LeBouf is a douche as a person and in transformers, but he was fine in the movie.
The only part I didn't like was the monkey / vines / swinging.
ALSO YOU"RE FUCKING STUPID!!

Yeah, compared to the first 3 I thought the new one was garbage. When will they understand that bringing back these movies almost never actually works well?

The fourth was exactly like the other three! Very little dialog, shitty plot, bad acting, lots of blood and gore! ...even more blood and gore, actually!

It just didn't have the same vibe for me. Something about it just wasn't interesting enough for me to give a damn. Also, I thought the first movie had a pretty decent plot.

Re: BTTF fans.....
the new rambo was win, the new indy was lose.
fucking really lose.
i mean, it wasn't the worst movie i have ever seen, but it didn't hold a CANDLE to raiders or crusade. and temple was better. which used to be the weakest one.

Re: BTTF fans.....
The ending to the fourth one was just epic the way he mowed down all those Gooks with the 30mm
And how can you not love when he put the arrow through the dude's head who then fell on his own landmine!
