That doesn't prove a damn thing. All it shows is that some dude is capable of getting healthy and fit and flexible without yoga. What it doesn't show is that his method is the only method. im not really bothering trying to prove anything to someone has never exercised seriously.

for every hour you spend, you can find far more effective ways of exercising than yoga. i showed how blindingly obvious that was in the first serious post i made in this thread

No, I told you I don't lift weights or body build, or spend much time in the gym. I do, however swim multiple times a week for extended periods of time. I do go running on the trails in the river valley, etc. I'm not obsessive, but I'm more than serious enough for this sort of conversation.

Point B is false. Granted people rolling around on inflatable balls and playing on machines are wasting their time, but if you know what you are doing weights will fix your posture and massively strengthen your core

but you shouldn't just jump into weights from non-weights, especially if you just go and lift but don't actually strengthen all the right back and core muscle groups. yoga provides a very good baseline from which one can continue, knowing what good posture and balance are. and weights don't help with balance.

also, point A and C are buku better than point B

hence the bit about doing them properly. i guarantee you deadlifts, squats, good mornings, planks, weighted situps etc. strengthen your core a hell of a lot more than yoga. weights help with balance if you do the correct exercises.

its pretty easy to evidence wally....i spend 90 minutes doing yoga and im bored. i spent 90 minutes doing a weight session followed by a spinning class tonight and felt like throwing up/passing out at the end of it.

hence the bit about doing them properly. i guarantee you deadlifts, squats, good mornings, planks, weighted situps etc. strengthen your core a hell of a lot more than yoga. weights help with balance if you do the correct exercises.

its pretty easy to evidence wally....i spend 90 minutes doing yoga and im bored. i spent 90 minutes doing a weight session followed by a spinning class tonight and felt like throwing up/passing out at the end of it.

Well, that might be evidence that you have ADD....
