so i dusted off gran turismo 4

i played it for a little while back in the day, but i got sick of having to do like 800000 races to earn enough money to buy a fun car.

then i discovered you can win money and cars just buy running the races in that b-spec mode.

so now i just leave my ps2 on while my car runs the races. currently i'm doing the 24hrs of lemans, and i'm comfortably in 1st place, with a 4 lap advantage on the 2nd place car.

also, in b-spec, you can speed up the race, so it only takes 1/3 the time, as long as you remember to reset the speed after a pit stop. (that part is annoying).

i guess i'll do the nurburgring tomorrow and get that F1 car, so i don't have to fuss around with this other bullshit any longer.

well, my car won the 24hrs of lemans. the car i won was a crappy audi r8. wtf?

now i'm running the 1000km fuji race. evidently, i win the nissan r92 or whatever the fuck it is. i'll do the nurburgring over the weekend.

meh, this nissan isn't all that great, either. my minolta toyota stills drinks its milkshake by a good 15sec/lap at the nurburgring.

the only bad thing about the minolta toyota is that it's so twitchy at high speeds. even if you change to settings to reduce response, the fucking thing is impossible to control on the back stretch of le mans and pretty much anywhere on the ring. the computer can run it just fine, but i can't.

it's clear that the only car faster than the minolta toyota is the f1 car.

i lapped fuji in about 58 sec with the minolta. f1 car does it in 55. :O
