The Republican Party and McCain deserve it all. Maybe 40 years in the political desert might be what they need.

Do these regressives lack a memory? She did in Alaska what many Dems and Independents think is needed in the rest of the USA. Some structured socialistic policies are not going to condemn basic free market ideals, after all it is socialism that paved your roads and hwys, it's socialism that created public education, it's socialism that has built most of your infrastructure.

So McCain in his Larry King interview says that Obama just does not have the experience or judgement to lead the USA, but when asked if some reason he as President was out of touch with the govt. and the US was under an attack would he think that Sarah Palin is qualified to handle the crisis? McCain noted Palin is very with it, intelligent and a quick learner and would not only deal with it well but would rally the whole nation behind her.
