Apparently, there's a cookbook for it written by a man, no less, so apparently guys don't think it's that disgusting.

I always thought the sock was over-rated. Soft, yes. But subsequent clean-up costs negatively affect the long term 'cost-benefit' analysis.

I found the best was usually a latex glove, stuffed with cotton balls that have been individually lubricated with hand-lotion. Don't use vasoline. Although it's a popular lubricant in contemporary folk-lore, it's tough to wash off, and generally adds to the mess exponantially once semen is applied to the equation.

The cost-benefit problem can be avoided if you use worn socks that need replacing anyway. I know I have some worn-out socks that are awaiting "retirement."
