....sad because when the future hits, cars like these WILL be the sought after classics. The ones we can still afford to take out on Sunday drives when the oil reserves are all but dried up and gas is $20 per gallon and all the NORMAL people are driving hybrid/electric/mr. fusion/hydrogen powered cars.

I wouldn't worry about that. If they can make combustable fuel from corn and soybeans, AND right now it's cheaper than it's fossil fuel counterpart, there will be fuel for our V8 and I6 dinosaurs.
