2010 Camaro Specs VIA Hot Rod Magazine.

The guys at Hot Rod have been itching to get real numbers out of the Camaro. So they did. They tested all 4 available models (V6 Auto and Manual, V8 Auto and Manual) and gave out the numbers of the manual versions.

Now, realize they did this at the GM proving grounds in Milford, MI in mid-March. So it was 34 degrees outside. Also they did not have a proper dragstrip, just the paved asphalt of the test track. Luckily it was dry and no snow or ice.

The LS3 V8(426 HP) with the 6-speed Tremec TR6060, did the quarter mile in 12.95 seconds @ 112.92 mph with a 0-60 of 4.70 sec. They backed this up with 3 similar runs, give or take half a tenth.

The LLT 3.6L V6 (304 HP) with the 6-speed Aisin trans, did the quarter in 14.29 sec @ 100.85. That's pretty close to Mustang GT territory. They said it wasn't hard to light up the tires either. The V6 revs all the way up to 7k easily.

Things are sounding good so far.

still, i dig the new camaro. it's just cool. funny that it didn't make it out until the second transformers movie, though.

They probably wanted to work the bugs out of it as best as possible. But somehow they still had a recall on it the first week it was out.
