Selling the Epi because I never use it and have no money.

Still, might as well, I can put the money towards my camera fund. And I still have the Strat + a kick ass amp. That's all I really need... really.

yeah, dude, i feel you. you only need one guitar, really. i've actually considered giving mine to my buddy back in rochester, since he's doomed and broke, and he's wanted a new PRS for a long time. plus, he's an amazing guitar player and would use it more than i.

and, even though he's broke, i know he wouldn't sell it.

Yeah man. I hear you. I haven't even been playing the strat as much as I'd like. So having this semi-valuable musical instrument just collecting dust seemed rather stupid. Got $240 for it too. I could have gotten more if I had sold it privately since these things retail new for just under $400. But whatever, I wanted the money now so I can pay down the VISA and start saving for a camera and other shit. Plus when I move the fuck out of this shithole it'll help to have one less guitar to move.

And yeah man, I'd do the giving of the PRS thing - if he'd use it and not sell it.

Yep. It's gets smaller and more expensive every year. When I renew my lease my rent will be over $1000 / month if rumors are to be believed.

i was kind of wondering about that. i've never been to edmonton, but it seems like rent shouldn't be as high as it is. is there nothing else near edmonton? maybe that's where everybody goes or something?

Yeah, it was tough to do. But I realized that I was playing my strat 99% of the time, and, since I'm not really doing anything more intense then the occasional jam session it was pretty pointless having two.

It does suck. But I can buy another one down the road.

but except for one show where i needed a guitar in D and tuned down a strat, i've only touched tele since buying the mexican tele. now i've got my squier tele in D so i can use it for the songs in D with buffalo beard and be a full on tele guy.

They are nice guitars man. Can't fault them at all. The accountant here is big into Teles too. A large part of me wishes I hadn't parted ways with my old Squire Tele.

So i got a mystery pedal from the rhythm guitarist/singer in my cover band yesterday. he bought a lot of random distortions and overdrives on ebay. one sounded cool to me and he didn't like it. its a hughes and kettner warp...no idea what its supposed to actually be (distortion, overdrive, fuzz, etc) but it makes this ugly nasty fuzz tone, especially on the neck pickup. like sounds like the amp is exploding fuzz. its a keeper.

so i guess its supposed to be a distortion, but it sounds like a fuzz to me.
