A Territory man filmed himself speeding at 150km/h while masturbating at the wheel of his drug-laden car, a court heard.
His Holden SV6 was allegedly laden with...4.96kg of cannabis hidden in a blue esky in the boot, two cannabis plants on the back seat, two drug pipes and a loaded .22 rifle.

I saw a huge news story yesterday. They arrested a delaware man for having 4 mature cannabis plants in his backyard. I'm glad the police are out there to keep us safe, he's still in jail because he couldn't post the $4,000 bail.

I don't think he'll get too much at all for all of that.
There were no speed limits in the northern territory on open roads until a year or two ago. I would imagine they're still pretty lenient. The whole filming himself masturbate part might give him a bit of a fine, but really, I don't think there would be too much to get him with.
Two decent sized plants could make up a lot of that 4.96Kg. In half of the states here (not mine though) you're allowed 2 plants for personal use. I'm, not sure how it works if they're in you're car and not in the ground but i'd imagine it works in his favor.

The 4.96 was all in his trunk though, so the plants must have been separate. I bet he still gets off without a whole lot.

Yeah, I missed that the 5kg was in the trunk but given that it was in the NT he still probably won't get much at all.
There is probably local case law that supports him based off abbos's who they're trying to rehabilitate. :<_<:

I hope weed is at least decriminalized in the US within the next 10 years.

Yeah, tell me about it. I often forget that most of the US population is a bunch of rednecks because my area is so different. If you drive a few hours west or north it can be like being in the deep south in certain places.

I actually listen to Bob & Tom every morning and it seemed to be the least controversial part to them too, Tom was more concerned on how he was taping himself.

They do. Their compilation albums are relatively easy to get around here though.
When I last listened to Bob and Tom regularly, it was after the whole "wardrobe malfunction" thing and all the big indecency fines being thrown around, and they were so neutered because they thought they're were going to get nailed for even the slightest innuendo. I hope that's gotten better.

They were okay but when they started being sindicated on a local station here, we have another long standing morning show that's Bob and BRIAN, and the station playing Bob and Tom decided the best thing to do was play off of the fact that they thought that Bob and TOM were better, so all the adverts around, billboards and the like, were in the same thread of BOB and BRIAN TOM and they of course didn't last long (that station changes owners/formats once every other year anyways) and were replaced by locals which do better. Especially since they play music more than they talk, and have a segment about Missed Connections on Craigslist which is funny at times.

Well I've listened to Bob and Tom for years and it's about the only thing I'll listen to in the morning, I can't stand listening to music first thing in the morning.
