Who's getting the ball? Who knows?
I read an article about a high school football team that came up with a new offensive set up in which all 11 players that line up could potentially be a ball carrier, with two QBs and what appears to the defense to be 6 wide receivers. Once the ball's snapped, they still have to adhere to only 5 players going downfield and the rest remain ineligible. But the defense doesn't know who the hell is going and who is staying.

I was reading this story linked from Yahoo ( http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=825031 ) that basically said the idea grew out of how to compete in a division where your school has half the student body of everyone else. They apparently made it to the playoffs the first year they tried it.

It seems really neat but you're exposing a QB to a blitz pretty much every play.
I think a good d coordinator could crush it.

zdc_LarryRX- My mind is littered with anguish, much like the board is littered with my posts.
