I got ACIII and the PS3 promptly decided it wasn't going to read blu-rays (including games), so now I have to send this shit back to Sony and shell out $150 for them to fix something that shouldn't be fucking happening in the first place.

Radio Shack has this insane doorbuster deal for Black Friday. 250GB PS3 with Infamous 1, 2, and that other Infamous game, plus Uncharted 1 and 2 for $219. I'm considering getting in on that.

My PS3 has about an inch of solid dust on it.

I don't hate the PS3, I just like the Xbox better.

I'll say this about them - their laptops have been brilliant for me. My VAIO lasted me, as a primary computer for all of law school and half of articling - still works as a nice back up. My second one did the following 3 and a half years without any problem. In a world where computers (I'm looking at you HP) seem to go tits up after about 2 years, I've been pretty pleased.

Yeah, but it's Best Buy, so in typical fashion, they'll have 10 at every store and they'll sell out 5 minutes.

My 360 has two.

There used to be so many games that were proprietary to a given system, whether it be Nintendo vs Sega, or Microsoft vs Sony. Now, 99% of titles are available for both, so there's not much of a reason to own them both. I think the only game I've played on my Xbox in the past three years is Gears of War 3. Gears was a great series. That said, I still like the PS3 better.

I'd rather have God of War than Gears of war, GT5 over Forza, BluRay player, wireless internet, rechargeable controllers (yes, I realize XBox has those thing NOW, but they didn't when it was first released), and free online play.
