I'm flying to California for 5 dollars in about a week.

I'm more curious as to how who ever you bought it from thought you were serious that you would be flying in to pick up their 1988 Dodge Omni America.

You should have seen the E-mail exchange I had about buying the Camry...

More relevant to the topic, I will be buying an E36 328i this week assuming it passes the inspection.

How can flying anywhere make the purchase of an '88 Omni an economical proposition?

Southwest = 78 dollar flight.

^ Lulz, I think I paid like $90 to get to Chicago to buy the RSXS.

Then paid like $50 in tolls just to get out! :smelly:

I paid $85 to get to Brisbane (plus $85 for my girlfriend). The only tolls were in Sydney but I didn't have any plates, so free travel on its motorways/bridge/tunnel!

The Mizer was a 808 with a crappy single headlight grill sold in the US. Not sure about these earlier ones. In Canada for sure - seen a wagon plus another coupe.

Not quite as bad as that - ImageServe seems to have trimmed the right-hand side of the pic, rather than actually resizing it properly.

Quoted for truth. Those were the most beautiful ones. And it's not like they had the same crash safety problem Skylines had; the frame and engine are largely the same, they just didn't want to sell it here anymore (probably because the coupe market sucked). Damn shame.
