You know what's odd? Thoughts on MS and the 2010 season
It's odd and kind of funny that I actually want MS to be competitive. I never cheered for him when he was in his prime. Being a life long McLaren fan that just could not be. He was an arrogant jerk but with age he seems less so now. He though is one of the best drivers in history. Now after a 3 year retirement I kind of want him to do well enough to be competitive. Of course I want McLaren to win the Constructors championship and preferably Hamilton (who BTW is looking and talking like a very mature young man and driver today) to win the Drivers championship but I'll accept Button doing it if that is what needs to be. I don't like reading /hearing the blathering talking heads slamming MS. Hell, the guy was away for 3 years, the cars are very different for 2010 than when he was racing at his best. Was it smart for him to come back? Who the Hell knows, but he adds flavour and an air of expectation and excitement to what by the end of the 2010 season may be a bit of a dullard one if/when we get a slew of good weather races. So bring on MS, good for him, good luck to him but not enough to keep my team McLaren from winning the championships for 2010.

I would like Mickey to be at his best just for the sake of having the best field possible. Also, the worse he is now, the harder it becomes to draw comparisons between his prime vs. the others'.

I really think MS is one of the top competitors in the world. As far as other diseases go, MS is a pro at sneaking up and debilitating adults. Sure there are other debilitating diseases making a mark this season, but none are as driven and ruthless as MS.

No way, man. Even Palsy whips MS any day. But Parkinson's owns them all.
