So my wife.....

My wife and I are watching TV tonight and a commercial for the VW Routan comes on.
She says something along the lines of "If I have to ever drive a minivan, NOT THAT I WOULD, but if I had to, it would be one of those."
So I look at her and say "Do you really know what that is?"
I get a blank response
"Do you know what the Volkswagen Routan is?"
"No"
"Its a Dodge Caravan"
2 second response- "You got to be kidding me.............Well at least it looks better as a Volkswagen"

Nope, different vehicle. The Touran is a Golf derivative, while the Routan is simply the newest Chrysler Voyager with some VW bits and badging.

My wife too..... we looked at one at the auto show, and while she was checking out the German leather seating, I was checking out the shitty Canadian build quality.

I had a business trip in california last Fall.
Had a choice between a Routan and Caravan. Clearly i choose the Import, much more classy
