God of War III... you knew this was coming
Picked it up yesterday. Thus far, this game does not disapoint. So fucking brutal. Sooo good.
Some examples:
When you kill a Centaur (the half horse half man things), at the end Kratos guts them from the front legs to the back and their guts come out onto the floor.
Helios (God of the sun or something) Kratos stands on his back and pulls his head straight up until nothing is holding it on his body but the neck skin, which tears off. No cutting, no twisting, just pulls it straight up and off... not quickly either... nice and slow.
When you defeat Hermes - he has these winged shoes on – Kratos pushes him up against a wall and you rotate the stick to cut one of his legs off at the knee. Hermes falls to the ground and starts to try and crawl away. As Kratos you then walk up to him (you can’t run, walk for dramatic effect), pick him up by the ankle and cut the other one off leaving him there with two bloody stumps with bones and arteries sticking out.
When you fight Hercules, he comes out with these huge, panther looking metallic glove like things on. Eventually you take them, put them on, and pin him down… it prompts you to keep hitting the “O” button and punch him in the face until it literally implodes leaving his skull to be a bowl of bloody, fleshy mess.

That sounds awesome. The first one was really cool but I didn't finish the second one. I need to get on that...
