Re: this is a little closer to the mark
It's much better than the Lingenfelter. The rear lip spoiler is fucking retarded though. It would look garish even on the Batmobile. And I don't like the taillamps, but that's mainly because this car seems to emulate the smaller lamps of the early 2nd gens, and I prefer the mid to later 2nd-gens that had the wider taillamps or the full-width taillight stripe. But everything else is pretty much just what I'd expect from a new Firebird.

I'd give it the time of day.

I was going to post this one but Big J beat me. The front end looks like it should for a retro look for the '77/'78 model. The spoiler looks a bit retarded though.
Also I can't make out the look of the taillights because they are blacked out.

Re: this is a little closer to the mark
This is better. It isn't ugly and cobbled together and overstyled retro for retro's sake. I'd actually drive this around without a paper bag over my head.
However what bothers me about both of them is that they're trying to put 2nd-gen F-body cues on a car design to look like a 1st gen F-body, and the styles are to different to really mesh. Why not try something that looks like a '69 Trans Am? Those were plenty pretty enough.

yeah, it's really hard to see. I think the little curved pieces on each side of where it says "Trans Am" are the tails. but really, it would have loked a whole lot better looking like the same style the bandit TA's had, full-width across the back of the car with little ribs running across it. That woulda looked sexy.
