Of course they are. :dunnas:

Actually, i'd been a little worried with how they'd been playing the last couple of months, but it looks they've just been doing what's needed and not much more.

It's probably a good thing to be pushed occassionally. The Saints-Brisbane game was really good and the outcome would have been interesting with their two best defenders playing. But I guess like most people, I was hoping for a round 14 undefeated showdown. Plus it helps if the Cats and Saints can keep everyone else down the ladder.

Collingwood usually play the Saints twice, but I can't remember if it's the same this year. It would be good to have another shot, because the first time was in the run of games where the Pies were ending the first quarter on scores like 1-4 or 1-5. Since then they've turned the accuracy problems around and gotten off to flyers.

Last night was a good example. And if it wasn't for the shitty umpiring in the last quarter, it would easily have been a four goal win...but I'll take a point anyday.

And the Cats must now be very worried about probably making another GF with an epic home and away season record, only to go down to a more composed side on the day.

Speaking of which, I'm very worried that the Hawks will choose next weekend to regain their form and beat us by 10 goals for the third consecutive game. There are way too many loud mouth Hawthorn supporters at my work and it's great that they've been quiet for the last month.

Just an update - my team (coincidentally the most exciting, star filled and courageous team in the comp) crushed their opposition by 90 points to secure a top four spot for the finals. I know Aussie Rules is almost impossible to see where most AFers live, but just remember the name Collingwood.

Dunnas supports St Kilda, who lost by two points when the captain missed a shot after the siren that would have won them the game. Pretty disapponting really.

They replayed the 1966 GF earlier in the year on Footy Flashbacks and we were robbed by dodgy frees against in the last quarter. But I guess it would be greedy not to let you have one trophy in 120 years of effort ^_^

Poor Dunnas :classicsad:

I lost $100 bucks on Saints by 1-39 and Dunnas is likely to have commit suicide.

But the people I really feel sorry for are the ones who picked the Saints on the line at 8.5. Rich before the final siren, broke afterward :classicsad:

The people that took Geelong on the line would have been happy with the last kick. That's what I was going to do myself but didn't get around to it.

:hump: I was incredibly stressed about that game all week. Geelong have been so good but I was positive the result would come down to our goorleriegog kicking.

I'm still worried about the chances of being able to string two games like that tomorrow, but it's looking pretty good. Hopefully the Dogs get over the line against you guys but Hall king hits Kosi who falls and crushes Lake.

Kosi doesn't crush people. He just gets injured buy the winds.

You've got a week to build up some real stress. And real stress it should be.

We have guys like Zac Dawson looking to run all over you.

Edit: What you up to tonight? I'll be here watching your dominators win their prelim if you've got nothing else going on. Feel free to pay a visit if you're in the area. :jay:

Watched it with my gf. I was a lot more confident about next week at half time. But the complete game sort of reminded me of Rnd 3. We're a hell of a lot better than the Dogs though.

At ~$3.00, I'll be putting at least $100 on the Saints.

I'm not sure if you recorded the game with all your fancy freeze tv technology, but someone at work uploaded it here:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~wtandt/ok/Video_0925-1351(7%20HD%20Digital)%5bSEVEN%20NEWS%5d.WMV

A couple of minutes either side of the half are missing, but it's not bad overall. He's going to do the replay in higher quality for me.

Not sure if anyone else would find this interesting - maybe Ascona...

I'd been looking for torrents all week, but the game is actually available legally online. (No, I forgot to record it. I'm hoping I don't forget it again tomorrow, er, today. If I was in charge of 7 - and now had 3 channels to abuse - i'd reply the final right about now. Lets see if they are.).

Watching he game tonight was my plan before I decided I was drinking. After that everything goes to hell. I drove up to the local pokie joint at around 3 (after a dozen beers and three glasses of bourbon). Got back at about 5:30 and wrestled with myself for a while about whether i'd go to sleep for 7hrs or so or stay up all night instead.

Of course staying up all night won out, although only just. I'm only wearing my boxers now because I had half stripped off for bed.

Seriously, swerve. We just have far to many channels these days.

2 Years ago we had 5. Today we have 15. Soon we'll have 16 once 10 works out what there next channel will be about.

THe best thing on right now is nothing. In 20 minutes on ABC3 there is apparently a show called Wolverine and the xmen. It runs from 6:23-6:45

It is all retarded.

Do you even have your TV's tuner set up to see all these new channels? I know I didn't. nor at my dad's. 7mate takes over 73 which I had skipped. that means that 70 is now not HD but just a copy of 7. 9's Gem likewise took over the HD channel but they just literally gave it 90. To receive 9 at all you need to view channel 9.

I realised the tv was skipping new channels when flicking up and down the order. But because I almost always switch to the high numbers by choosing the main channel then using the guide, it doesn't matter.

I'm liking ABC 2 at the moment for the Daily Show, Good Game, Colbert Report and Gruen Transfer. Other than those I generally just watch whatever crazy motorsport is on 1 or occassionally 7 and SBS. Plus SBS porn.
